RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL 1

This is a reminder to you that Residential School 1 commences 9am Wed 10th June & concludes 5pm Sunday 14th June.

NB: in order to satisfy residential school attendance criteria, you are required to attend from 9am-5pm. Friday through to Tuesday. So please arrange your travel bookings to accommodate the full Residential School schedule.

RESIDENTIAL SCHOOL 2

Week Two will be three days only commencing 9am Monday 15th June & concluding 5pm Wed 17th June.

We encourage all students who are currently enrolled in either the Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma programs to attend, as there is always something of value to learn.

NB: we remind all students that Residential School attendance is compulsory for each year that you are enrolled in the program.

The Venue

Is the Australian College of Holistic Medicine (ACHM), at 961 Blunder Road, Doolandella, Qld, 4077.

Location

Transport

There is no direct public transport route to Doolandella and students will require private transport

Accommodation

There is no on-site student accommodation and local hotel/motel accommodation is limited

In the local area

• 1) Mt Ommaney Motel at Jindalee is the most pleasant place to stay and the shopping centre opposite is convenient for purchasing meals http://www.mtommaneyhotel.com.au/index.htm
• 2) Darra Motel situated just off the Ipswich Highway provides basic motel accommodation however, because of its highway proximity, it is very noisy and there is no convenient source of meals

In western Brisbane suburbs

• 1) Annerley and Moorooka have several motels in close proximity to the Ipswich Highway and the Princess Alexandra Hospital
• 2) Toowong and Indooroopilly (3-4 km west of Brisbane) also have several suitable motels & hotels in close proximity to the local shopping centres

We suggest students arrange shared accommodation & car hire costs, using the RMIT DLS Blackboard and Chat-room {not during tutorials please} to coordinate with other students.

Residential School Meals

ACHM will provide morning and afternoon tea but does not supply lunch. Please bring your lunch with you OR you can purchase a meal from food outlets in nearby Forest Lake
