Course Requirements
Learning resources such as textbooks andvideos as listed on the External Studies Booklist can be purchased from ACNM, and will be dispatched with your study package.
When enrolling for External Studies units, please be sure to order the required text and other resources for each unit. These can be purchased from the city campuses (Qld, Vic and WA) or mail ordered from the External Studies office to be posted with your study pack.
All enrolments and/or book orders will attract a postage and handling fee of $10 for students in Australia and $30 postage and handling fee for students residing outside Australia.
Special Requirements
It is important that students comply with the sequencing of study units because after the first two subjects each pair is a prerequisite for the next pair. Please be aware that students with no previous study in chemistry would be advised to enrol in an introductory subject "Foundations of Chemistry" before Biochemistry.
Each subject is developed for study over a normal 18 week semester period, but off campus students can set their own pace and accelerate of slow their progression to fit in line with their professional and personal commitments.
