Guidelines for Enrolling Students
Thank you for your enquiry about entry into the Master of Nutrition Medicine programme, which we offer in collaboration with RMIT University. Your enrolment process will proceed more smoothly if you enrol via the Australian College of Holistic Medicine (ACHM).
Please read this information sheet carefully, as it will guide you through the enrolment process.
The information below is in 2 sections:
Section 1 - explains the RMIT enrolment requirements and
Section 2 - details the Master of Nutrition Medicine study programme.
Enrollment & Re-enrollment

SECTION 1
Initial Application
- To make an initial application, download the Application Form
Complete the application form and obtain certified photocopies of the following information:- all your healthcare qualifications, and
- your Birth Certificate or Australian Citizenship form
- To ensure smooth processing, please fax copies of your application form, healthcare qualifications and birth certificate or citizenship form. This enables us to determine your eligibility for entry into the program and if other information is required.
- We will then confirm your eligibility by return email or fax.
- After receiving our confirmation email or fax, then you should post your original application and the certified information photocopies to:

Once we have received and officially approved your application, we will send it to RMIT University, for further processing.
REMEMBER - send certified copies only - DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS.
Letter Of Offer
RMIT University will then send you a "letter of offer", followed a week or so later by an enrolment form and several other forms for you to complete, as listed below.
You should receive the following forms from RMIT University.
Tick off below as you complete each form, to ensure you have received all appropriate forms
1: RMIT Enrolment Form (Pages 1 & 2): (Required for all students)
Please complete and ensure that all pre-printed information is correct.
2: Privacy Statement: (Required from all students) -
Complete, sign and date this section.
3: Statistical Data Form (Pages 1 -3):
Complete all questions, sign and date the required pages
4: Course Selection Form:
Students to select courses (Required from all students)
ACHM usually recommends that you enroll in a maximum of 2 courses at any one time. Place a tick in the boxes for only those courses you wish to receive, pay for and complete within the following 12 months. DO NOT TICK ALL THE COURSE BOXES.

5: Domestic Fee-Paying Student Fee Declaration:
ALL STUDENTS ARE TO COMPLETE THIS FORM, including international students.
6: Request for Fee-Help assistance Form: (Required from Australian Citizens only)
Only complete this form if you wish to apply for a fee assistance loan.
7: Australian Citizenship proof: (Required from Australian Citizens only)
A certified copy of one of the following: Passport, birth certificate, Certificate of Australian Citizenship)
(Not required for International Offshore students)
It is important that you correctly complete the paperwork listed above, if there is missing information or you have not signed and dated it, your enrolment will be delayed.
Enrolment
- To expedite the processing of your enrolment, please fill out the forms as soon as you receive them.
- Then return these completed forms to RMIT University as soon as possible.
- Once RMIT has received your completed paperwork, there will be a minimum period of 6 weeks for the information to be processed.
Please keep a copy of all material that you forward to RMIT University and always post your information by Registered Mail.
Payment of Fees
When RMIT receives your correctly completed enrolment forms, they will issue an invoice for your fees. Once these formalities have been completed & your fees have been paid, you will receive by email, the course material from ACHM.
SECTION 2
Whilst it is RMIT's role to process your application and provide a contact person to advise you of your progress, ACHM's role is to provide course information and guidance throughout this application process The Master of Nutrition Medicine program- Your commencement date is taken from the date the course material is emailed to you.
- You have between 8 and 52 weeks to complete each course(subject).
- It is advisable to have access to an internet provider that enables you to download large attachments.
- NB: previous students have reported download problems with free email addresses.
- All emails, including course materials, sent to you by ACHM will be receipted, and
- you must be able to return the receipts.
Attendance in the on-line discussions is an important learning feature of the Program.
- You are required to attend a minimum of 5 online discussions in each half-year
OR - You are required to read a minimum of 5 on-line discussions in each half-year AND post your own comments about the topics discussed on the Discussion Board
Student questions are to be placed on the discussion board, these will be answered weekly, this enables all students to benefit.
Residential School is held twice a year, the dates and locations are available in the Course Information Section.
We encourage students to attend as many Residential Schools as possible to enable students to improve their clinical skills and knowledge, network with their peers, build a support and referral base which will enhance their clinical practice.
Each Residential School is unique, because of the differing clinical contexts in which the information is presented, varying according to students requirements and orientation.
Students in the Program are from diverse backgrounds and cultures providing an invaluable exchange of ideas, area specific herbs, foods and different modalities of treatment.
